SUMMARY:Summer Immersion - How does the formalization of psychoanalysis help psychoanalytic practice? Presentation of René Lew
DESCRIPTION:2- July 1-30th\, Saturday\, 10:00 am-12:30 pm PST\, Summer Immersion – The Immersion will be in two parts this summer. The first two weekends\, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am-12:30 pm PST\, via Zoom René Lew\, Parisian analyst-psychiatrist\, is invited to discuss his practice in Lacanian analysis and topology. The presentation will be in French via Zoom and simultaneously translated by an interpreter. See the end of this bulletin and on the website of PLACE for a summary of the argument and bio of Lew. The second two weekends\, Sat. and Sunday\, same times\, will be dedicated to the presentation of Non-classical logics (modal\, intuitionist\, bi-intuitionist) and their use in the context of Lacanian analysis. If there is time\, a bridge will be made to Heyting & Bi-Heyting Algebras and Galois Groups. All of these meetings will be held via Zoom. \nTweet
